Back in March, we learned that Samsung was developing a new Galaxy M series smartphone called the Galaxy M47. A month later, another report about the device suggested that the brand could launch it in India. Both reports have now turned out to be accurate.
Samsung has announced that it will launch the Galaxy M47 in India soon, which could be the phone's global debut. The company hasn't revealed the device's launch date, specifications, or pricing yet. However, it has shared a teaser image of the smartphone.

As you can see in the image below, the Galaxy M47 appears in a red finish, which should be one of the color options available at launch. It features three rear cameras housed in an island-style module, similar to Samsung's recently launched smartphones, and a power button on the right side of the device.
The teaser also carries the “Amazon Exclusive” branding, confirming that Samsung will sell the Galaxy M47 exclusively through Amazon in India. Meanwhile, the phone's tagline, “Next Level Monster,” suggests that it could offer a powerful processor, a large battery, or both. It is expected to share internals with Galaxy A27.
